Handler Notes

Overall Progress Marge finished her training week showing some continued improvement. She has become more comfortable with the training routine and is more attentive and responsive to her handler. She is showing a better understanding of the commands introduced throughout the week. Although she can still become excited or distracted, she is learning to refocus when redirected. Basic Commands Marge has improved with her name, sit and stay. Her response to “sit” is becoming more consistent, and she is able to hold her “stay” for longer periods with guidance. Continued practice will be important to make these commands reliable in everyday situations and around distractions. Leash Walking Marge has shown some improvement with leash walking. She still pulls at times, especially when excited, but she is responding better to her handler and is beginning to understand the importance of walking calmly. Regular walks at home will help reinforce what she has learned. Ball & Fetch We continued working on fetch and returning the ball. Marge is becoming more engaged with the handler during ball play, although returning the ball consistently still needs more practice. Socialisation & Impulse Control Marge remains excited when meeting people, but she is showing a better ability to listen and redirect her attention back to her handler. Continued socialisation and impulse-control exercises will help her become calmer and more responsive in different situations. Exercise & Stamina Marge has adapted well to the training routine and is gradually building her stamina. She is becoming more comfortable with regular activity and is able to maintain focus for longer periods. Recommended Home Practice To maintain her progress, we recommend continuing with: * Sit and stay * Name response * Calm leash walking * Recall * Returning the ball * Impulse control around people * Regular controlled walks and exercise Final Trainer’s Notes Marge has had a positive training week with steady improvement. She is attentive, willing to learn and responds well to her handler. Her basic obedience, leash walking and ability to focus have all developed during the week. The most important thing now is consistency at home. Short, regular training sessions will help reinforce the skills she has learned and continue building her confidence and obedience. She will be going into week 2 on Monday
